Hey all - I've been having quite a large deal of difficulties lately, both with health, medication and life, and I've had to put myself in first place and leave dA and the contest alone. I am currently at my parents' house, and still not quite fit for fight, but I figured that checking in and updating the entries list wouldn't hurt.
On top of that, I've received a few requests over the past days to extend the deadline a bit - unlike last time, I wouldn't feel good about more than a week's extension, so that's what I have decided upon -
So for those of you who have not sent in yet, and asked for the extension of the deadline:

Sorry to those of you who rushed to get the entry done, but I just received these requests and had no idea there was even a need for an extension until now. Hope you're okay with it - it'll leave you time to perfect anything you might want to fix on your entry too, if you want. (naturally, that means that everyone who sent in during today (the 6th) will be accepted too ).

But I'll shut up now, and show you the entries! Every single one of them are MUCH appreciated, and you've all made my MONTH! I know they aren't meant to be gifts as such, but I still love you all for taking the time and putting in the effort, and I love them just as much as I love gift art. SO THANK YOU! You have no idea what it means to me, especially when life, health and stuff like that sucks @$$. <3

Hey all!
Hope you're doing good!
Just wanted to update with the newest entries - sorry for taking so long to update, but I've been busy as the 21st was my birthday. I'M 23 NOW!!!
And I don't feel any different AT ALL. XD

The birthday party was great - and a friend and I are talking about moving in together. He's awesome, and it'll definitely cut me some slack money wise too while he gets the personal space he needs and haven't been able to have since the bank stole his money for some pensioner plan... we're both geeks and like roughly the same things, so it's gonna be AWESOME!

Sorry about being unresponsive yet again - LOTS of stuff is going on - most of it good stuff, thanks goodness. I am launching a business with a friend, to sell Mana Energy Potion to Europeans.

What's Mana Energy Potion? It's an energy drink. Basically, it has the same effect as 2 cans of Red Bull or 4 cups of Instant Coffee in one 50 ml. bottle. 160 mg of caffeine in other words.

It is currently available worldwide through ThinkGeek.com, but unfortunately, ThinkGeek charges 35 in shipping per 6 pack to Europe - which is quite a lot considering that the product itself is only 19.99 per 6 pack. So I've been working together with ThinkGeek to provide it to Europeans at a cheaper price, starting out with Denmark, seeing that there's been quite a lot of interest in this energy drink between Danish geek-friends of mine. I'm hoping to expand to the rest of Europe next month as it has been a huge hit. :] More about that later though, and back to the contest!

Haha, it's been a dead period - not only with no entries, but also in real life.
Was almost kicked out of my apartment because the landlord went batshit crazy. He claimed that I owed him money for rent from before I even lived here and had a contract for the place, and said that I had 8 days to pack my things and leave. lolwut? o_O

I paid the stupid money and sent a brank transcript proving that I had paid a full deposit back when I moved in as well as the full amounts of rent and fees for every single month I have lived here (plus one month before I moved in where I was in Canada) since the contract was signed. It was resolved, though I am left with little to no money for this month (I can't afford paying rent TWICE in one month D: ).

But getting a letter that tells you to move out 8 days from the day it was written makes you shit your pants. #___# Of course, I never got an apology after proving he was wrong either.
Needless to say... the second I have the money to move, I am outta here! 8D

But enough about that!
